Recommended!

Veterinarians the world over routinely recommend psyllium for use in dogs to help with natural elimination. In addition to cases of diarrhea, Psyllium can also be helpful in addressing your dog’s chronic irritable bowel syndrome, and may even be helpful in addressing constipation that comes about when your pet has too little fiber in his diet for one reason or another. 'I have been using fiber for myself for decades. It had never occurred to me to add fiber to my dogs meal until my sister, Ally gave me a sample of Fiber for Dogs. I have two English Springer Spaniels - Archimedes and Sofi. We give them a teaspoon with their meals when they have loose stools or constipation and it works great. In fact we were giving Archi a tsp. with every meal for a long while and my wife, Joan said to cut back to 1/2 tsp. because Archi was turning into such a Super Pooper (which is a good sign that his gut is in great working order). There is a lot of research out there now on the Brain / Gut relationship. It turns out that old saying "What does your gut tell you" is virtually true! I am really impressed with how Fiber for Dogs works and the dogs seem to like it. Also this fiber stays in solution, unlike my fiber that sets up in 30 seconds. All in all a novel idea and excellent product.'

'I like to have an over-the-counter product on hand so I can immediately have it available to help any of our rescue dogs coming in that are stressed or have loose stools due to a change of environment and/or diet. Bern Dog Fiber fits the bill as it is easy to use, not full of artificial flavors or sugar, and can be sprinkled on their food. I prefer trying/using a natural psylliium product such as Bern Dog Fiber first knowing the dog is parasite free.'

'I have been a Registered Nurse since 1978 and since 1985 I have worked in the field of GI. Very often, the gastroenterologists will tell patients to use fiber supplements for symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. The logical conclusion would be that the same would apply to canines with symptoms of the same. I also foster for two different canine rescue groups. Because of my background in nursing, I commonly am asked to care for dogs who a variety of conditions. Quite often they are on antibiotics, and often they develop diarrhea as a side effect of the medicines. Given the opportunity to try Fiber for Dogs, I automatically thought there was a possibility it could help. Once I tried it, I found that the bowel movements were dramatically improved. I would recommend this product to anyone whose pet is suffering from loose stool. And fortunately, there is no clinical indication that this could create a situation where the colon became dependent on it.'
